We recently visited Howfield Manor for afternoon tea and it was absolutely lovely. The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere is calm and welcoming and the team couldn’t have been more attentive. It really is a little hidden gem.
With the gardens and grounds, it’s the ideal spot for drinks or lunch in the summer too. And if you didn’t already know they also host weddings and events, which makes perfect sense given how charming the venue is.

The accommodation was fascinating and great . The staff were so polite and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel which is also very nice. All meals were excellent, fresh ,and delicious I only recommend to put soap in the bathroom.I will tell my family and friends about this amazing hotel.

We were visiting Canterbury and found Howfield Manor and an excellent find it was too. Slightly off the beaten track, a couple of miles from Canterbury, this old manor house is beautifully situated in its own grounds that are stunning. The hotel itself is well appointed with well furnished rooms. The food in the restaurant was really good and not overly expensive (as in some hotels), the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was superb. So, if you’re planning a trip to Canterbury, I'd really recommend a visit to this place. You really won't regret it.

Howfield manor hosted our wedding and they did a fantastic job. The food was fabulous and the service from the whole team was five star.
If you are looking for a wedding venue, Howfield Manor should be on your list of venues to review

If you are okay with it being couple of miles outside town center, then I think it is a lovely option.
We stayed two nights and the room was spacious and nice furniture. The breakfast we had one day outside and one day inside. It was nice too. Beautiful garden and green area you can walk with in the hotel space.

I absolutely loved it here! The people working there were so nice and sweet, one of the people that worked there even showed me a video of his daughter that made a really long goal at a football match which was really cool. The service is really good and it was fun to chill in the hotel room and zap on the English television. The dinner was nice and the breakfast was delicious.
